Myofascial Release Therapy

"My passion is to help people suffering from Chronic Pain and Restricted Range of Motion."

Therapies I use include the following:

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY (John Barnes' Approach):
Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) offers help for people with Chronic Pain and Restricted Range Of Motion.  MFR increases joint range of motion, rejuvenates and frees muscle tissue, increases flexibility and decreases pain and tension.

NEW!  Now offering. . . . "RAINDROP THERAPY"
Raindrop Therapy uses Young Living Essential Oils which are applied to the feet and along the spine, mixed with a variety of massage and myofascial release techniques and hot compresses to rid the tissues along the spine of the viruses, bacteria and their toxins to bring the spine into structural and electrical alignment as many types of spinal problems and misalignments are caused by toxins from the viruses and bacteria that lie dormant along the spine.  This therapy was originally created for people with scoliosis, and has been found to be helpful for anyone with spinal issues.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY:
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system which is comprised of the membranes and cerbrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.  Using a soft touch, the restrictions in the craniosacral system are released to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE:
Therapeutic massage stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves at the same time.  It reduces the hardened spots and trigger points in the body, while reducing stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management.

REFLEXOLOGY:
Reflexology is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion.  It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.  Great for sore feet - Plantar Fasciitis.

LYMPH DRAINAGE:
A lymphatic drainage massage, sometimes called manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), is a gentle form of massage which stimulates the body's lymphatic system, allowing it to naturally circulate fluids and increase the body's metabolism and immune system.  The lymphatic system can become blocked, causing fluids and toxins to build up, making us more susceptible to colds and viruses.

HOT STONE:
A relaxing massage using water-treated stones what are placed on specific sites on the client's body to promote relaxation and help open the meridians (energy pathways).  Heated muscles are softened which allows deeper therapy.  This therapy promotes deep muscle and tissue relaxation, alleviates stress, releases toxins, relieves pain, improves circulation and calms the psyche.
